The spokesperson for the General Security Directorate stated that a report was received in the Operations Room yesterday indicating the existence of a dead body inside a house in the Azraq district, and security forces immediately deployed to the site and evacuated the deceased to forensic medicine to determine the cause of death.
The spokesperson confirmed that the investigations led to the discovery that the deceased had been beaten by another person prior to his death. The suspect was arrested and confessed to assaulting the victim at various parts of his body while working for him at his business place, and the investigations are still ongoing.
