On Friday, the National Center for Security and Crisis Management warned of the dangers of the unstable weather condition affecting the Kingdom over the next 48 hours.

The Center also warned of the risk of flash floods forming in valleys and low-lying areas, especially in the western parts of the Kingdom including the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and the Aqaba region.

It also warned of the risk of reduced visibility due to wind speeds and dust, especially in desert areas and external roads, in addition to the risk of slipping on roads experiencing rainfall.

According to the Meteorological Administration, the weather remains pleasant on Friday in most areas, warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with clouds appearing at medium and high altitudes, and a slight chance of scattered light rain showers, with moderate southeast winds that occasionally intensify.

The Administration added that on Saturday, there would be a slight increase in temperatures, and the weather would be slightly unstable and mildly warm in most areas with clouds at different altitudes, with a chance of scattered light rain showers at intervals, and moderate to active southeast winds with strong gusts occasionally stirring dust in many areas, especially in the desert regions.

At night, cloud cover increases at different altitudes, and rain showers are expected in various parts of the Kingdom, sometimes heavy in some areas, accompanied by thunder and hail, leading to flash floods formation in valleys and low-lying areas including the city of Aqaba and the Dead Sea, with moderate southwest winds speeding up occasionally.
