On Thursday evening, Dr. Mamoun Akroush submitted his resignation from his position as president of the American University in Madaba, and it was officially accepted by the university's board of trustees.
In an announcement he posted on his personal page, Dr. Akroush confirmed the news and clarified his next destination, stating:
“Good evening, everyone. I announce my resignation from the American University in Madaba. I thank everyone involved. God willing, I will return to my den at the German Jordanian University to continue my career of giving in the honorable field of higher education and to complete my national mission at the university that is dearest to my heart. I thank God for this blessing.”
