Khaberni - National team taekwondo player, Fadia Al-Kharfan, successfully earned the bronze medal in the Under-21 World Taekwondo Championship held in Nairobi, Kenya today, Thursday.
Al-Kharfan secured the bronze medal in the under 57 kg category after reaching the semi-finals.
Fadia Al-Kharfan commenced her participation by defeating the Turkish player Elul Mina Dordu with a score of 2-0 in the last-16 round, and with the same score, she surpassed Mexican player Regina Jimenez in the quarter-finals before losing in the semi-finals to Spanish player Carla Sesar with a score of 0-2.
Currently, Al-Kharfan is witnessing a significant rise, having achieved various medals in different championships, the latest being today's medal.
