Khaberni - John Terry, a Chelsea legend and former captain, said that the team’s lack of experience could cost them their hopes of winning the English League title following a disappointing performance in the match they lost against Leeds on Wednesday.

The Chelsea legend criticized the decision of Italian Enzo Marisca, the team’s coach, to adopt a rotation principle, as well as the performance the team displayed at "Elland Road".

After achieving a notable victory over Barcelona and performing well against Arsenal, Chelsea found itself nine points behind the current leader Arsenal.

The British newspaper "The Sun" quoted Terry as saying through social media: What a weak performance, all I said about facing Leeds at their home is that it would be fiercer and their fans more enthusiastic and hostile. In such cases, we either compete with them or relieve the pressure on them, which we did not do in the first half.

Terry continued: We showed some good moments in the second half when Pedro Neto came on as a substitute and we returned to the game when the score was 2-1, but we cannot deliver such a performance again.

He explained: We cannot continue after presenting great performances in matches against Barcelona and Arsenal, and therefore, this will not earn you the title in the end. This is what will cost us in the end, as we lack experience, and if we cannot go to Leeds away from our home and know what awaits us, then we must go there and show fight and face Leeds in every way.
