Khaberni - The FIFA World Cup has arrived in the American capital of Washington, touring several major landmarks before the "final draw" for the 2026 World Cup. The event is scheduled for Friday, December 5 at 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (18:00 Central European Time) at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

The trophy was showcased inside the celebration hall at the center, where FIFA legend Rio Ferdinand, along with representatives from the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA), gave media representatives a "preview tour" of the drawing hall.

Rio Ferdinand, along with broadcaster Samantha Johnson, is set to manage the historic draw ceremony, featuring 48 teams.

A number of global sports stars will participate in the draw as "draw assistants", including: Tom Brady, Wayne Gretzky, Aaron Judge, and Shaquille O'Neal, with Eli Manning attending as a special guest to present the event on the red carpet.

FIFA provided visual materials featuring Ferdinand and additional footage of the trophy during its tour in Washington, along with a collection of photos available through the federation's digital platform.
