Meet the Top 10 Richest People in the World

Khaberni - The global wealth summit in December 2025 witnessed a new stage of competition, with the rise of new names and changes in the positions of some major wealthy individuals. Together, the fortunes of the top 10 richest people reached 2.4 trillion dollars amid major movements in the technology and global investment market.

The top 10 richest people on the planet entered the last month of 2025 in a heated race to dominate artificial intelligence, following the mid-November launch of Google's Gemini 3 model. This achievement placed Alphabet in a leadership position, making its co-founder Larry Page the second richest person in the world for the first time in his history, behind Elon Musk.

Larry Page's fortune is estimated at 262 billion dollars, with an increase of 30 billion dollars since November 1st, due to a 14% rise in Alphabet's shares. Thus, Page surpassed both Larry Ellison of Oracle and Jeff Bezos of Amazon, who each dropped one spot to third and fourth respectively. Ellison was the biggest loser among the top 10 wealthiest, as Oracle's shares fell by 23% and his fortune decreased by 67 billion dollars to 253 billion dollars.

Larry Page's co-founder at Google, Sergey Brin, saw his fortune increase by 27 billion dollars to reach 242 billion dollars, raising him to the fifth position among the wealthy.

Meanwhile, according to "Forbes," this month's list of the top 10 richest people includes Warren Buffett for the first time after an increase of 9 billion dollars in his net worth to 152 billion dollars, following his company Berkshire Hathaway's investment in Alphabet and the subsequent rise in its shares by 8%. This advancement moved Buffett from rank 11 to 9, and Michael Dell to the tenth place with a fortune of 147.9 billion dollars, while Steve Ballmer, the former CEO of Microsoft, fell from the ninth to the 11th rank after losing 6 billion dollars.

Despite a slight decline in his wealth, Elon Musk remains the richest person in the world by a significant margin, with an estimated fortune of 483 billion dollars, after a 6% decrease in Tesla shares and losing 15 billion dollars from his net worth.

The total fortune of the top 10 richest people in the world as of December 1, 2025, is 2.4 trillion dollars, which is at the same level as the previous month, noting that daily stock prices may lead to continual changes in the rankings.
