The Kuwaiti Federation for Artistic and Theatrical Production issued an official statement clarifying the recent health developments of the Kuwaiti actress Hayat Al-Fahad, after she suffered a new setback in one of the hospitals in the British capital, London, where she has been undergoing treatment for months.

The statement explained that Hayat Al-Fahad, who has been suffering from the effects of a stroke for about 5 months, entered the intensive care unit again two days ago after suffering a severe health crisis caused by sudden infections that led to the deterioration of her health condition.

The federation indicated that the medical team in London was able to quickly control the situation after administering the necessary treatment and antibiotics, confirming that she is still under close monitoring and that her health condition is now stable thanks to the urgent intervention.

On his part, the manager of the artist, Yusuf Al-Ghaith, in exclusive statements to "ET Arabic", stated that the crisis was severe to the extent that it necessitated her admission to intensive care for the second time since her arrival in London four months ago to undergo precise examinations after the stroke that struck her last August.

Al-Ghaith clarified that the sudden infections are the cause of the recent deterioration, but he reassured the public that the situation is under medical control, praising the large outpouring of prayers and support that the artist received from her fans and colleagues.

He also emphasized that detailed talk about the medical condition is inappropriate as these are personal matters, confirming at the same time that there is no truth to any rumors of her death, and that her current health condition is stable, and called on the Kuwaiti federation for the artist's fans and supporters to continue praying for her during this health ordeal until she overcomes it safely and returns to her audience.
