After A Fake Video Elon Musk Settles the Debate on Tesla Manufacturing Electric Motorcycles

Khaberni - Social media witnessed widespread debate after the spread of a fake video showing the American billionaire Elon Musk riding a motorcycle, but Musk decisively confirmed that Tesla will never manufacture electric motorcycles.

Musk stated on his account on platform X that the main reason behind this decision is the difficulty of making motorcycles safe on roads, basing it on his personal experience saying, "I was nearly killed on a motorcycle."

Elon Musk added that dirt bikes (Dirt Bikes) are acceptable if ridden carefully because they are away from large trucks and do not pose the same risks.

Elon Musk's statements come amid ongoing criticism of Tesla's autonomous driving system, which several reports have accused of causing fatal accidents for motorcycles due to the difficulty of distinguishing narrow light signals on motorcycles compared to cars, sometimes leading to deadly rear collisions.

Despite Tesla's stance against electric motorcycles, the electric motorcycle industry is growing rapidly. Traditional companies such as Honda, BMW, and Kawasaki have launched real production models, while other companies like Zero and LiveWire are pushing the sector towards higher performance and greater dealer support.

Asian companies like Yadea and NIU are striving to provide affordable electric scooters, thereby rapidly accelerating the adoption of this technology at a global level.
