The Financial Technology Department at the Business College of Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan organized a scientific lecture titled "The Uses of Artificial Intelligence in Insurance Business", presented by Mr. Raed Shreim, Executive Director of Operational Operations at Al-Oula Insurance and an artificial intelligence specialist, along with Dr. Ramzi Al-Ghoul, Branch Manager, Marketing, Strategic Companies and Training at the company.
During the meeting held in the Graduate Studies Hall at the Business College, the guests reviewed the growing role of artificial intelligence in developing the insurance sector, explaining how smart technologies contribute to analyzing and assessing risks, automating processes, and enhancing the efficiency and quality of decision-making. They also provided practical examples of using artificial intelligence in developing insurance products and enhancing the companies' ability to predict and innovate.
The speakers discussed the main challenges facing institutions in adopting artificial intelligence solutions, including updating traditional systems and developing the technical skills of employees to ensure their readiness to cope with the requirements of digital transformation.
At the end of the event, a fruitful discussion took place between the lecturers, students, and faculty members from the Financial Technology Department, during which opinions were exchanged about the future of artificial intelligence in the insurance business and the current and future challenges of this sector.
Professor Dr. Ayman Abdelmajid Al-Samadi emphasized the importance of continuing to organize quality events that contribute to preparing students capable of keeping up with modern digital developments.
