Media reports confirmed that the Saudi League is preparing for a historic transfer season next summer.

The British newspaper talkSPORT reported that the Roush Saudi League is aiming for a double strike by signing deals with heavyweights after the end of the current season, including stars Mohamed Salah and Vinicius Junior.

The newspaper explained: "The future of Mohamed Salah remains open to all possibilities, despite his dropping performance this season and his absence from Liverpool's starting lineup in the last match."

It added: "The Egyptian striker is still a prominent target for Saudi League clubs, which continue to monitor his situation within the English team and wait for the right moment to retry signing him after he declined a huge offer that reached half a billion pounds sterling last summer."

It continued: "Despite signing a new contract for two years, the signals from the player's camp and the club do not completely dispel the possibilities of his departure at the end of the season, with strong interest from clubs like Al Hilal and Al Qadisiyah which are preparing to return with a bigger and long-term offer."

It went on: "Informed sources indicate that the Saudi moves are not limited to Salah only, but extend to a more ambitious project that includes the Brazilian star Vinicius Junior, where lawyers and contract experts are working on drafting an offer that might make him the highest earner in football history."

And concluded: "This step is part of a broad direction to change the shape of global competition and attract major names at different ages, reflecting a clear desire to turn the Saudi League into one of the most important destinations for stars in the coming years."
