Khaberni - After the national team played its first match in the Arab Cup (Qatar 2025) at Al-Bayt Stadium in Al Khor city yesterday, "Al-Nashama" became the first Arab team to play in all the World Cup stadiums that hosted the finals in 2022.

During the last Arab Cup and the Asian Cup finals, the national team played 11 matches across all the World Cup stadiums, although it had not previously played in this stadium in past participations, according to Al-Ghad newspaper.
Before yesterday's match, the national team had managed to win in 6 matches on the World Cup stadiums, with one draw and four losses, scoring 20 goals and conceding 16 goals.
The match against the Emirates will not be the last for the national team on this stadium, as it will also host the last game of the first round against the Egyptian team next Tuesday at five-thirty PM, in the third round of Group Three.
"Al-Nashama" started its matches on the World Cup stadiums in the 2021 Arab Cup, by playing at Education City Stadium against Saudi Arabia in the group stage, and then met the Moroccan team in the second round at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium, and faced the Palestinian team in the third round at Stadium 974, finishing its participation in the tournament in the quarter-finals at Al-Janoub Stadium against Egypt.
In the Asian Cup finals, the national team started its journey at Al-Janoub Stadium against Malaysia, then met the South Korean team at Al-Thumama Stadium, while playing two consecutive matches at Khalifa International Stadium against Bahrain and Iraq, before playing two consecutive matches at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium against Tajikistan and South Korea, to play its last match in the final against Qatar at Lusail Stadium.
Ahmed bin Ali Stadium is the favorite for the national team, after achieving its most precious victories in the Asian tournament, when it overcame Tajikistan in the quarter-finals, and reached the semi-finals for the first time in its continental participations, before logging another achievement on the same stadium by reaching the final scene, after beating South Korea by two clean goals, in a match considered the best in "Al-Nashama’s" technical history.
Al-Bayt Stadium hosted the opening match of the current edition of the Arab Cup, which featured Qatar against Palestine and ended with the latter’s victory with one goal to nothing, as it was present at the opening of the previous edition of the same tournament which featured Qatar and Bahrain, and the final between Algeria and Tunisia, hosting many matches in the World Cup and Asia most notably the opening match of the World Cup between Qatar and Ecuador.
It is the second largest stadium in terms of audience capacity after Lusail Stadium, with a seating capacity of 68,000 fans, nicknamed "The Tent" due to its unique design inspired by the traditional tent in the Gulf, blending heritage and modernity.
