During the visit, Her Majesty reviewed the children's activities at the association and participated in some festive activities organized by the Jordan Children's Museum, which included making Christmas tree decorations, crafting glass snowballs, making Christmas wreaths, and decorating gingerbread houses. Her Majesty also accompanied the children in distributing gifts, and she conversed with the nuns and children about the Christmas tree.

It is noted that the Mar Mansour Association was founded in 1957 with the aim of helping the poor, educating their children, caring for needy families, and providing shelter and care for needy children. The children's home was built in 1974 and has since housed over 600 children aged between 3 and 18 years.
