Khaberni - Social media platforms in Saudi Arabia witnessed a noticeable wave of comments after the circulation of images and videos of the global star Travis Fimmel, known for his role as "Ragnar Lothbrok" in the series Vikings, during his visit to Ha'il city.
Fimmel appeared wearing traditional Saudi attire inside one of the tents, where he tasted local dishes and participated in folk dances, which greatly pleased the followers who praised his interaction with the desert atmosphere and the heritage environment in the region.
On the platform "X," images of the Australian star wearing the abaya and bisht while engaging with the Saudi hospitality spread, and he seemed to enjoy the simple atmosphere and the heritage experience he underwent in Ha'il. He also received symbolic gifts, including a gold-plated sword bearing his name and a bisht as a token of honor for his visit.
Many Saudis expressed their happiness with the visit, as one of them wrote: "Travis Fimmel seems to enjoy every detail of the Ha'il atmosphere."
Another said: "We are glad that we have conveyed our identity properly." A third follower commented: "It's striking how he blended in naturally with you, even the way of dressing, sitting, and eating as if he was one of you."
Travis Fimmel achieved a strong presence in global drama through the character Ragnar Lothbrok in the series Vikings (2013–2017), a role considered by several critics as the most important turning point in his career. USA Today described his performance as "compelling and charismatic".
