Khaberni - Despite the massive fire that engulfed the "Studio Misr" set designated for the series "The King," Mohamed Adel Imam announced that filming has officially resumed with high morale, confirming that the entire crew is fine and there were no injuries recorded.
Newspapers and art websites re-published photos shared by Imam on his Instagram account from the filming site, where he appeared with the production team announcing: "With God's aid and will, we resume filming the series The King," praising the determination of producer Abdullah Aboul Fotouh and his insistence on continuing filming despite the significant financial losses.
Aboul Fotouh confirmed that outdoor shooting had indeed resumed, and that the series is still scheduled to air next Ramadan, urging the public to support and follow it.
Last Friday, "Studio Misr" experienced a massive fire that destroyed the main set of the series, located in the Maryouteya area in Giza governorate, causing substantial losses and raising concerns in the artistic community about the fate of "The King." However, director Sherine Adel and writer Mohamed Salah El-Azab reassured that the rumors about canceling the work or stopping the filming altogether were just rumors, and that the crew had begun assessing the damages and planning to restart the work immediately.
