Khaberni - Cairo News Channel reported that the General Authority for Information denied on Wednesday any coordination between Egypt and Israel for the reopening of the Rafah crossing for the residents of the Gaza Strip in the coming days.

The Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories, an arm of the Israeli occupation army overseeing the flow of aid, said on Wednesday that the Rafah crossing will be opened in the next few days to allow Gaza residents to enter Egypt.

It added that this arrangement, which has received security approval from Israel, will be coordinated with Egypt under the supervision of the European Union mission, similar to the mechanism applied in January 2025.
