Khaberni - A number of Jordanian activists attacked nurse Nasr Al-Din Tama'neh after a video he released, criticizing the attire of some of the medical staff.
Tama'neh said in a video he posted on his personal social media accounts that the attire of some nursing staff does not suit the nature of their work, noting that he works with foreign medical staff and does not see what he sees in some of the hospitals in the capital, Amman.
He considered that tight clothing and anklets on feet are provocative attire that does not align with the nature of nurses’ work.
Commenting on the video, a number of Jordanian activists responded to Tama'neh, saying that what was mentioned in the video is seen as incitement and justification of sexual harassment.
The activists expressed their concern about the situation of females working in the Jordanian health sector because of such videos, saying that women no longer feel safe because of them.
