Khaberni - The expelled leader of Fatah and the security advisor in Abu Dhabi "Mohammed Dahlan" thanked the UAE for its initiative in organizing a mass wedding for a number of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, as part of the country's celebrations of the «UAE Union Day».
Dahlan said in a post on his social pages:
I am honored to extend my warmest congratulations to the UAE, its leadership and people, on the occasion of the 54th Union Day.
Our Palestinian people will not forget this continuous Emirati generosity, which was founded on the solid foundations laid by the late Sheikh Zayed with his generosity, wisdom, and vision, making the UAE today a leading country, a haven for future sciences, and a destination for scholars, intellects, and wealth.
This year’s Union Day comes with a special flavor for our people in Gaza, for the grooms of Gaza celebrating their blessed marriage, God willing. These young men and women who have today embodied the will to triumph over darkness and the war of extermination and destruction.
We say to the grooms of Gaza, you have given hope to our people in Gaza, and to our people everywhere, and you have confirmed that no one can break your will. Together, we will work to rebuild our future and our country, and we will not forget our martyrs, for they are the most beautiful and noble among us.
We thank the UAE which brought joy to your hearts on such a special day, and stood robustly and courageously by our side since the beginning of this devastating war.
Congratulations on your joy, and we look forward to more, God willing.
