Amman Arab University implements a workshop on Strategies for Motivating Students and Effective Skills for Enhancing Classroo

The College of Information Technology at "Amman Arab University" participates in the Ninth Arab Conference on Professional Training

Under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Azmi Mahafaza Al Akram, Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the College of Information Technology at Amman Arab University participated in the Ninth Arab Conference on Professional Training and the accompanying exhibition, organized by the Jordanian Trainers Association in collaboration with the Amman Chamber of Commerce and Amman Chamber of Commerce Academy for Training and the Arab Trainers Union, held at Amman Chamber of Commerce Theater in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan over two days, as part of the vocational and technical education and training track in the context of Arab and international qualifications, with the participation of elite researchers and academics from various universities and sectors.

Representing the College of Information Technology at the conference, Dr. Magdi Salama, a faculty member in the Computer Science department, participated in scientific and dialogue sessions that discussed main themes related to the future of vocational and technical education, and its role as a major path for continuous learning, in addition to displaying successful institutional experiences in adopting international qualifications frameworks and enhancing Arab and international partnerships and cooperation, where Dr. Salama noted that the sessions discussed issues of linking education outcomes to the changing needs of the labor market, and enhancing dialogue between the academic and economic sectors.

Dr. Salama pointed out that the conference included a specialized educational exhibition that allowed participating institutions to showcase their leading programs and initiatives, including international programs such as Pearson and other globally accredited institutions in the fields of education and training, where the conference witnessed broad attendance from scientists, researchers, university representatives, public and private sectors, and trainers, reflecting the growing interest in the role of education and training in building the knowledge economy and enhancing innovation and sustainable development.

In this regard, Dr. Rami Sahweil, Dean of the College of Information Technology at Amman Arab University, emphasized the college's ongoing commitment to participating faculty members in specialized scientific conferences and symposiums, as they represent an important platform for enhancing academic communication and exchanging experiences with experts and specialists at both the Arab and international levels, explaining that these participations open wide prospects for faculty members to learn about the latest global practices and trends in the fields of vocational and technical education and training, which contributes to the development of study plans and curricula and improving the quality of academic programs in line with international accreditation standards and the changing needs of the labor market.

Amman Arab University's participation in the conference embodies its steadfast commitment to supporting the education, training, and innovation system, enhancing cooperation with policymakers, educational and training experts, business and industrial sectors, and international and regional organizations, as well as accreditation institutions and qualification granting institutions, entrepreneurs, and innovators. The conference indeed served as a real bridge linking educational innovation to workforce development needs, by bringing together educational and training leaders with private sector leaders and international institutions in one event, contributing to advancing vocational and technical education toward new horizons that meet future aspirations.
