This morning, the Israeli occupation closed the "Allenby" Bridge to Palestinian travelers, both incoming and outgoing, due to a sudden strike carried out by Israeli employees working at the site.
According to preliminary reports from the Israeli side, the closure is supposed to last only one hour, starting at 8:00 AM, but the situation is still unclear regarding when the bridge will be reopened normally.
The "Allenby" Bridge (King Hussein) from the Jordanian side is the only land crossing available for West Bank Palestinian citizens to travel abroad via Jordan, and any closure disrupts the interests of thousands of travelers daily.
