Khaberni - Angham, on Monday evening, delivered a strong message of support for the artist Tamer Hosny during her concert held in front of the Pyramids at the "Egypt Nights" festival.
Angham called on her audience to pray for Tamer Hosny following his recent surgery in Germany to remove part of his kidney, emphasizing the deep human and artistic relationship that binds them.
Angham said to the audience: "We would like to pray for a great and important, smart and successful Egyptian star, and may God be kind to him and set him on his feet just as he set me on my feet."
Angham also mentioned that Tamer Hosny never forgot to inquire about her during his own health issues, adding: "Tamer is my colleague, my brother, and my friend, and he never failed to inquire about my health during my health crisis."
She concluded her talk with a direct message of support, saying: "I pray for him from here, from this beautiful, blessed place, and God willing, he will rise and be in the best condition."
In another context, Angham revealed her opinion about the title "Voice of Egypt," insisting that this title cannot be limited to a singer or performer, but is a general title for anyone talented in any field who raises the name of their country high.
Angham responded during the concert to a fan who called her "Voice of Egypt," explaining: "It’s an honor and a great responsibility on me, but any Egyptian artist who presents respectable work represents the Voice of Egypt, it’s not just about me."
During the concert, led by maestro Hany Farahat, Angham started with the song "My Country's History," which the audience greatly interacted with, before presenting a collection of her most famous works such as "Special Condition," "And You Have a Heart," and "Your Many Names."
For his part, Tamer Hosny reassured his fans via his Instagram account after the surgery, confirming that he is recovering well and that monitoring of his condition continues between Germany and Egypt, explaining that his kidney part removal surgery was precise, but he is stable thanks to the prayers of his fans and the medical team's care.
