Khaberni - Real Madrid announced that its French player Ferland Mendy suffered a muscle tear and is expected to be out of play for three weeks.
The club said in a statement: "After the tests conducted today on our player Ferland Mendy by the medical services of Real Madrid, his injury was diagnosed as a muscular injury in the biceps femoris of his right leg, and his condition will be monitored."
Mendy has just returned to play for "Los Merengues" after a seven-month absence, but the new injury might end his season entirely.
