Khaberni - The Saudi national team secured an important 2-1 victory over their Omani counterparts, in the match held this evening, Tuesday, at the Education City Stadium in Doha, as part of the first round of the group stage of the Arab Cup 2025, collecting the first three points in the tournament.
Firas Al-Buraikan opened the scoring for the Saudi Green in the 55th minute after a precise cross from Salem Al-Dawsari, before the Omani team equalized with a header from Ghanim Al-Habsi in the 70th minute, and substitute Saleh Al-Shehri returned to score the second goal for Saudi Arabia in the 77th minute.
The match also witnessed an exciting refereeing moment in the 85th minute after a previously issued red card was canceled, ending the match with a 2-1 victory for the Green amid balanced performance between the teams.
