Khaberni - The Department of Architecture at the College of Engineering and Design at the Middle East University launched the "Architecture Club", to provide a quality opportunity that enhances university life, enables the exchange of experiences, organizes initiatives, competitions, and activities, and facilitates communication between students, graduates, and experts, thereby consolidating the department's academic identity
and deepening students' connection with their architectural community.
This occurred during a meeting of the new students organized by the department, attended by the Dean of the College, Dr. Ayman Awad, the Head of the Department, Dr. Mohammad Hamdan, members of the teaching and administrative staff, and a group of students.
Dean of the College, Dr. Ayman Awad, reviewed with the students the vision of the college, its achievements, and its partnership paths, emphasizing the importance of students' involvement in architectural activities and initiatives as a fundamental part of the university experience.
The meeting included presentations of student works and projects and examples of their architectural activities, while alumni and students who had won in local and international competitions shared their experiences and success stories with the audience.
The meeting concluded with the honoring of top students and those distinguished in engineering and architectural competitions at both the local and international levels.
