Salami I do not want to face Morocco in the World Cup and we want to reach the second round

Khaberni - The national team's technical director, Jamal Salami, confirmed that the Arab Cup is an opportunity for a number of players, in light of the absence of 6 influential players engaged in their clubs' championships outside the Arab region.

Salami said, during a press conference preceding the Al-Nashama's final training to face the UAE in the first round of the Arab Cup, that the tournament is a chance to showcase the players' abilities, as Jordan has aspirations to perform well amid the brilliance of a group of players.

When asked about the World Cup draw taking place next Friday, Salami said he does not object to being placed with any competitor, but he does not want to face the Moroccan team, emphasizing that Al-Nashama wants to reach the second round in the World Cup.

He pointed out that the criticisms directed at the technical director will not break the program and the confidence that the national team has provided, especially since football does not recognize anything specific; Asian champion, Qatar, host of the Arab Cup, lost yesterday against the Palestinian team despite being favored to win the tournament.
