Khaberni - The Department of Physical Therapy at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, in collaboration with the Dean of Student Affairs, organized a service and awareness activity aimed at the early detection and treatment of sports injuries for students of university teams in various sports activities.

The activity included providing physical therapy sessions, alongside providing athlete students with specialized guidance on proper warming-up techniques and recovery mechanisms before and after matches, which contributes to enhancing their physical efficiency, boosting their sports readiness, and reducing potential injuries.

Third-year students in the Department of Physical Therapy participated in the implementation of the activity, who provided field support under the supervision of specialists from the department, where 15 cases were examined and treated.

In this context, the Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Professor Dr. Samah Najib, affirmed that organizing such initiatives comes within the framework of Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan's commitment to providing a healthy and safe sports environment for its students, and enhancing the students' role in applying their practical skills and serving the university community, thereby embedding the principle of integrating the academic and practical aspects.
