God is sufficient for us Reham Abdel Ghafour stirs controversy with a mysterious post

Khaberni - The Egyptian artist Reham Abdul Ghafour stirred broad interaction on social media after posting a message carrying a clear tone of anger, in which she expressed her dissatisfaction with matters she did not disclose, settling for a tone indicating that she had been subjected to what she described as slander and transgression.

Reham wrote in a post on her "Facebook" account: "God is sufficient against those who say what is not in us, and attribute to us what we did not do, and transgress against us, and deny what we did of good, and sufficient is God as a witness".

The post sparked a wave of questions among followers about the background of this anger, especially since Reham Abdel Ghafour usually prefers to stay away from disputes and the spotlight outside of her artistic works.

Remarkable Success
In a separate context, Reham Abdel Ghafour is preparing to launch her new film "New Year's Map", which belongs to the fantasy genre and winter atmospheres with a global spirit linked to the Christmas season.

The film is considered one of the bold and unconventional human cinematic experiments in Egyptian cinema, as it offers a rare proposal and presents Reham Abdel Ghafour in a complex acting performance, within a new artistic direction adopted by the artist in recent years through choosing complex and deep roles.

The film stars a group of artists, including: Mohamed Mamdouh, Asma Abulyazeid, Hanadi Mehanna, the rising actor Asser, and the work is written by Youssef Wegdy, directed by Ramy El-Gendy, and produced by Ahmed Hamdy.

The filmmakers confirmed that the work carries many unprecedented surprises in Egyptian cinema, pointing out that the external shooting takes place in a number of European cities, within scenes that rely on suspense and present moving human situations.

Previous Works
It is worth mentioning that Reham Abdel Ghafour recently starred in the series "Zulm Al-Mastaba", which was shown during the last Ramadan month, addressing a collection of social issues in the rural environment, specifically in Itay el-Barud city in Beheira governorate.

The work explored the impact of customary traditions and unofficial laws on individuals' lives and the complex social tragedies they cause, within a dramatic narrative that combines romantic tales and features of a difficult reality.

Alongside Reham, the series also starred Fathy Abdel Wahab, Eyad Nassar, Basma, Ahmed Azmi, Mohamed Ali Rizk, and Faten Saeed, with special guest appearances by Diab and Ahmed Fahim.
