Khaberni - Individuals close to security authorities in Syria have reported that they are assisting a person suffering from psychological disorders, who claims to be a Jordanian citizen named Ali Jumah Al-Rashdan, and his mother's name is Maliha, born in 1962, and says he was residing in the Abdoun area of the capital Amman, and he mentioned that he spent a period in Sednaya prison.
According to sources for Khaberni, the concerned parties have been unable to prove his identity due to the absence of official documents in his possession, and they are calling on any entity or individuals who might have knowledge of the person or his relatives to help confirm his identity and facilitate communication with the relevant authorities in Jordan.
Sednaya prison is one of the most fortified Syrian military prisons and is known as the "human slaughterhouse" due to documented violations including torture, deprivation, and overcrowding. The prison witnessed bloody events in 2008, earning it the nickname "the red prison." Syrian opposition forces announced on December 8, 2024, that they stormed the prison and freed the detainees after entering Damascus.
