Khaberni - Today, the Financial Parliamentary Committee continues the discussion of the draft law for the general budget for the fiscal year 2026.
The committee will discuss in the council's house, the budgets of the Ministry of Justice, the Judicial Council, the Ministry of Social Development and the National Aid Fund, the Ministry of Agriculture and its affiliated department, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants and the Palestinian Affairs Department.
The budget of the Independent Election Commission will also be discussed.
It is anticipated that representatives from ministries, departments, and the authority will attend to discuss budget requirements and details of current and capital expenditures, and key projects to be included in the upcoming fiscal year.
The head of the Financial Committee, Dr. Nimer Al-Slihat anticipated that the committee would complete the discussion of the budget law project on December 8th, after which it will be referred to the council for discussion and voting.
