Khaberni - "BFM TV" reported the arrest of teenagers in France suspected of planning a violent attack on Jewish targets.
The channel clarified that "the General Directorate for Internal Security (DGSI) arrested the minors, on Wednesday, November 26, suspecting them of planning a violent attack on Jewish targets".
The channel added: "The young men were charged and placed under preventive detention, one of them was participating in a group chat on WhatsApp for exchanging terrorist content".
It pointed out that "one of the minors is 16 years old, of Chechen origin, was arrested in Strasbourg, was isolated from schooling, and is suspected of sending several messages through a WhatsApp group, one of which carried anti-Semitic connotations".
The public prosecutor confirmed that a "judicial investigation was opened on Sunday, November 30, charges were made for planning an attack targeting Jewish groups, and they were returned to preventive detention".
