Khaberni - The Greater Amman Municipality announced on Monday the issuance of its new human resources system, which comes in response to the administrative modernization plans at the municipality and aligns with the public sector development system adopted by the kingdom across its institutions.
According to the Greater Amman Municipality, the new system aims to reorganize the management of human resources in a modern way that corresponds with the best administrative practices, emphasizing the principles of efficiency, equal opportunities, respect for academic qualifications, and the accumulated experience of employees.
It confirmed that the new system represents a qualitative shift in institutional management and establishes a clear framework for managing career paths, performance evaluation, and identifying training needs, in line with the civil service and public sector human resources system.
It explained that the system aims to enhance institutional governance, regulate appointment and promotion processes, and improve the work environment, in addition to increasing the efficiency of service delivery to citizens through empowering employees and developing their capabilities, based on a merit and transparency methodology.
The municipality pointed out that the adoption of this system is part of its commitment to keep pace with the state's economic and administrative modernization vision, noting that the new system will contribute to enhancing institutional effectiveness, raising the level of job discipline, developing motivation mechanisms, and linking individual performance with institutional performance.
The municipality will immediately begin implementing intensive training plans to acquaint employees with the contents of the new system and its application mechanisms, ensuring swift execution and achieving the desired results.
It should be noted that the system represents a fundamental step towards the development of human capital in the municipality and enhancing the municipal apparatus's ability to provide better and more efficient services, in line with citizens' expectations and modern management standards.
