Khaberni - The U.S. President Donald Trump called on Israel to maintain a strong and genuine dialogue with Syria.
Trump said in a post on Truth Social, "It is very important that Israel maintains a strong and genuine dialogue with Syria, and that nothing should happen that might conflict with Syria's development into a prosperous state."
Trump's statement came following field tensions in the town of Beit Jin in the southwestern Damascus countryside, due to Israeli movements.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights observed Israeli military movements around the town, after an Israeli force was subjected to heavy gunfire inside the Syrian town last Friday.
The clashes resulted in the injury of six Israeli soldiers, including three in critical condition, in addition to another officer and a reserve soldier who were wounded, described as moderate and minor.
