Khaberni - In the framework of its ongoing efforts to enhance financial inclusion and accelerate the transformation towards a digital economy in Jordan, Zain Cash signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Jordanian transport app Petra Ride (Petra Ride), aiming to facilitate digital financial transactions for the app's drivers and providing them with a smoother and more secure digital financial experience.

This partnership comes as part of Zain Cash's strong commitment to supporting innovation and digital transformation, expanding its network of partners within the financial technology sector in the kingdom, and contributing to building a more flexible and sustainable digital financial environment that aligns with Jordan's goals towards evolving into an advanced digital economy. This agreement is also in line with Zain Cash's strategy to broaden the scope of benefit from digital financial services, enhance financial inclusion, and contribute to building a more inclusive and sustainable digital community, enabling individuals to manage their financial affairs easily and securely.

Under this partnership, a special institutional account will be created for Petra Ride on the Zain Cash wallet to be used for the drivers’ transfers instantly, and electronic wallets will be opened enabling them to access their accounts and complete their financial transactions easily and securely. Additionally, Petra Ride vouchers will be listed on the Zain Cash app, allowing Zain Cash users to purchase and use them directly through the app.

Through this partnership, Petra Ride drivers will join the Zain Cash family and will benefit from a wide and diverse range of digital financial services. Users of the "Zain Cash" wallet can complete their financial transactions such as withdrawals, deposits, purchases from various points of sale like shops, restaurants, and others, and shop online both locally and internationally through the Zain Cash Mastercard, which is provided to "Zain Cash" subscribers immediately upon opening the wallet.

"Zain Cash" offers its credit cards that are compliant with Islamic Sharia rules, in three categories (Classic, Platinum, and Global), interest-free and fee-free, aiming to provide more benefits to its users and offer comprehensive financing solutions enabling them to manage their money better. "Zain Cash" issues its credit cards in collaboration with "Mastercard", with limits starting from 100 dinars up to 5000 dinars, without the need for salary transfer, card issuance fees, and offering a 2% cashback for all users.
