Khaberni - A number of MPs signed a parliamentary memo requesting the Ministry of Education to postpone the upcoming school vacation (winter vacation) to coincide with the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan on February 18th.
The memo, adopted by MP Hussein Al-Amoush and signed by 35 MPs (as of now), states that postponing the vacation would alleviate burdens on students and their families and consider the circumstances of families during the holy month, ensuring better organization of the educational process.
Al-Amoush in his memo requested the Speaker of the House of Representatives to contact His Excellency the Minister of Education to consider the possibility of rescheduling the school holidays, asserting that this measure serves the public interest and enhances educational stability.
