Khaberni - MP and lawyer Mohammad Bani Malhem decided to convert his question to the government about composite "plastic" gas cylinders into an interrogation following the response from the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Saleh Al-Kharabsheh to his inquiries.
Al-Kharabsheh stated during today's parliamentary monitoring session, Monday, that the government will not allow the entry of any non-compliant plastic gas cylinders.
He confirmed that the Standards and Metrology Institution has tested 135,000 cylinders to date, out of 200,000 cylinders imported by a company.
He added that the government has granted approval to a company to establish a gas filling station for composite cylinders, and it is currently in the process of completing the licensing requirements.
He explained that two companies have applied for the license.
MP Mohammad Bani Malhem stated that in the context of the government granting a license to a company, he insists on converting his question into an interrogation.
