Khaberni - Jordan Kuwait Bank announces its sponsorship of a joint health awareness event at Revolution Square in the city of Aqaba, organized in collaboration with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, as part of awareness campaigns about breast cancer and men's cancers.
This activity is an extension of our support for the King Abdullah II building in the city of Aqaba, which last year included naming the waiting hall after the bank. This year, we continue our awareness efforts from the heart of the city to enhance preventive health and encourage early screening for both women and men.
The event included a series of educational and recreational activities with wide participation from the residents of Aqaba and its visitors, including counseling sessions on preventive methods, free preliminary screenings, alongside the distribution of gifts and educational brochures, amidst the presence of the bank's branch team in Aqaba to support partners' efforts in spreading health awareness.
The bank confirmed that its sponsorship of this joint event embodies its strategy in corporate social responsibility, which places the health of the Jordanian citizen at the top of its priorities, indicating that this type of event is considered a national and humanitarian duty that reflects the bank's ongoing commitment to serving the community and enhancing the health of its members.
Additionally, the bank's presence in Aqaba is not limited to providing banking services alone but extends to include a genuine partnership with the local community through supporting health, educational, and youth initiatives, pointing out that cooperation with a leading national institution like the King Hussein Cancer Center and with the Aqaba Authority, underscores the bank’s keenness to support efforts aimed at spreading the culture of prevention and early detection as an effective means of protecting the health of individuals and families.
It is worth mentioning that the Jordan Kuwait Bank continues to enhance its social role through initiatives targeting public health and social welfare, believing that investing in people is the true foundation for sustainable development.
