Khaberni - The Ministry of Water and Irrigation / Water Authority said that its personnel in the Internal Control Unit, the Water Basins Directorate, the Central Workshops, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and Public Security personnel, detected several infringements on water resources, including the control of an illegal well in Jerash supplying chalets and the detection of infringements in Mafraq on the Mafraq-Irbid-Jerash-Ajloun 900 mm diameter pipeline for filling illegal tankers, and the detection of an illegal drill during its operation of drilling an illegal well in Karak Governorate within the ongoing inspection campaigns for the campaign to tighten control over water resources, where infringements were removed, the well was backfilled by the technical personnel, the illegal drill was detained at the Directorate of Central Workshops in the Water Authority, and the incident's records were organized to complete the investigation, apply the provisions of the law and refer it to the court.

In detail, it was explained that based on information about the existence of an illegal well in Jerash supplying tourist chalets, the site was raided and an illegal well was found. The well was backfilled, records were prepared, and it was referred to the public prosecutor. In the area of Umm al-Lulu - Mafraq, infringements on the pipeline supplying the governorates of Irbid, Jerash, and Ajloun were detected to fill illegal tankers, where they were disconnected, records were prepared and referred to the public prosecutor. In Zuheim - Karak, an illegal driller was detected drilling an illegal well, the well was backfilled, records were prepared, and it was referred to the judiciary.
