Khaberni - The Commissioner of Al-Koura District in Irbid Governorate, Northern Jordan, Dr. Basem Al-Khalayleh, sent a poignant farewell message to the sons of the district, expressing his gratitude and appreciation for the people of the area on the occasion of his move to a new position of responsibility.
Al-Khalayleh said in his speech: "My family, my support, and my friends, the noble sons of Al-Koura District, I address you today with a heavy heart as I leave you for another position of responsibility, answering the call of the homeland to which we have devoted ourselves, in service of its land, sky, and inspiring leadership."
He added: "I will leave this dear district, carrying with me the most beautiful memories and a great number of the most loyal friends. You have been my support, help, and assistance, all in the interest of this good district with its land and its people."
He mentioned that the three years he spent in the district were filled with challenges and achievements, stating: "Together we overcame the toughest moments, and with your support and cooperation, we managed to achieve social peace, serenity, and tranquility for our people."
He affirmed that he learned a lot from the sons of the district, who overwhelmed him with their generosity, good company, and loyalty to their Hashemite leadership, noting that he felt as if he was among his family during his tenure.
Al-Khalayleh concluded his speech by saying: "I ask all of you to forgive me if I have wronged anyone of you without intending or knowing, and I pray to God to grant you success, and to choose for you someone who will serve this district and elevate it... And Allah is the guardian of success."
