The director of the Epidemic Management in the Ministry of Health, Dr. Ayman Maqableh, confirmed that the epidemiological situation for syncytial flu is stable, with no rise in recorded infections, explaining Khaberni that the figures are still within the usual rates.
In a statement to "Khaberni," Maqableh mentioned that the syncytial flu virus is less severe compared to other seasonal viruses, noting that it spreads more among preterm infants due to their weaker immunity.
He affirmed that the ministry continues to monitor the epidemiological situation and is taking all necessary measures to ensure the public health safety of citizens.
