Khaberni - The Government Services Center in Ma'an Governorate completed 5086 transactions related to the Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Administration services from the beginning of this year until the end of last September, according to official data issued by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.
The ministry stated that the most requested services during the past period were the technical inspection of vehicles (category three: 2201 transactions), followed by the renewal of vehicle licenses at one of the certified licensing centers (1989 transactions), then requesting driving license explanations (440 transactions), while the total transactions for the rest of the services provided amounted to 456.
It was explained that the Ma'an Center offers 14 integrated services as part of the Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Administration services, and welcomes visitors on all days of the week except Friday, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with the provision of electronic payment service through the “E-Fawateerkom” system to facilitate procedures for citizens.
It indicated that the average number of drivers and vehicles licensing services provided daily at the center is about 24 services, which reflects the role of government service centers in facilitating access to licensing services from one place, and bringing them closer to citizens.
It added that it is now possible for citizens to obtain the technical inspection service for their vehicle and renew its license in one place, within a few minutes from the start of the inspection until the receipt of the license, without the need to visit the headquarters of the licensing department, which has contributed to saving time, effort, and cost.
The ministry confirmed that it works through comprehensive government service centers to provide outstanding services that meet citizens' needs, as part of its initiatives aimed at supporting government directions in enhancing the quality of life and raising the satisfaction level of its clients.
