Khaberni - Mohammad Al-Jaafari, a player of the national karate team, won the bronze medal this Sunday evening in the World Championship competitions hosted by the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
Earlier today, team player Afif Ghaith also won a gold medal in the championship.
Afif Ghaith became the first Jordanian player to win a gold medal in the Kumite (individual fighting) competitions in the history of the World Karate Championships, which started for the first time in 1970.
Mohammad Al-Jaafari won the bronze medal in the under 84 kg category after defeating the Tunisian player Rayan Ghazwani with a score of 10-0, repeating his achievement from the previous edition where he also won the bronze medal.
