Khaberni - Media reported on Sunday evening that Israeli forces targeted the dark valley area on the outskirts of Beit Leif town in southern Lebanon with flares.
It added that the targeting was accompanied by the flying of reconnaissance and unmanned aircraft in the airspace.
The Israeli targeting of southern Lebanon coincided with the arrival of Pope Leo XIV to the capital Beirut on Sunday evening for a two-day visit.
Social media pages shared a video clip showing an illuminated bomb falling in the dark valley, with smoke rising post the Israeli bombardment.
