Khaberni - The Cabinet decided in its session held today, Sunday, chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan, to adopt the duration of military service for a period of three months starting from the date the conscript is signed up, according to the provisions of Article 5 of the Military Service and Reserve Service Law.
The decision also included proceeding with the procedures for calling up conscripts legally born in 2007 and dividing them into groups to be summoned in batches using electronic lot.
The decision comes in the context of preparing to start the implementation of the military service program starting from the beginning of next February, in accordance with what was announced by His Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince; about reactivating the military service program.
