Khaberni - Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov confirmed that Europe, by obstructing all previous agreements, has excluded itself from Ukrainian peace negotiations.

Lavrov told Russian journalist Pavel Zarubin, "Europe failed to reach the initial settlement agreement in February 2014, and did nothing when the opposition occupied all government institutions the morning following the signing of the document. Europe also failed to implement the 'Minsk Agreements'. Of course, the last time was in April 2022, when the Istanbul agreements collapsed, prompted by a request from the former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, with no resistance, if not full approval from Europe."

Lavrov added, commenting on the potential involvement of European countries in the negotiations: "This matter has not been practically discussed."

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Europe's stance on the Ukrainian settlement negotiations cannot be considered at this stage. He added, "Discussion and debate at this stage are focused on negotiations between Russia and the United States, and we will see what happens next."

Earlier, the U.S. administration announced a plan to resolve the Ukrainian crisis, indicating that it would not discuss its details currently, as work on it is ongoing. The Kremlin stated that Russia remains open to negotiations and committed to the Anchorage talks.

On November 21st, President Vladimir Putin stated that the American plan could form the basis for a final peaceful settlement, but currently, the details of the text are not being discussed with Russia. President Putin pointed out that the U.S. administration appears unable to obtain Kiev's approval, as Ukraine and its European allies continue to live in an illusion and dream of inflicting a "strategic defeat" on Russia on the battlefield. He noted that their stance stems from a lack of objective information about the real situation on the battleground.
