Khaberni - Tkiyet Um Ali launches on Sunday, November 30, 2025, the first phase of the School Nutrition Program by providing a daily healthy meal to the less fortunate students in public schools in the governorates of Balqa, Jerash, and Karak. These are schools that do not regularly receive food aid.

The meal provided consists of 100% natural date bars, offered as part of the School Nutrition Program by Tkiyet Um Ali in collaboration with the Ministry of Education.
These bars are distinguished by being:

  • Made by beneficiaries of Dar Abu Abdullah's economic empowerment programs.
  • Made from 100% natural local ingredients.
  • Free from preservatives and added sugars.
  • Rich in fiber and natural energy, supporting the health and focus of students during school hours.

Tkiyet Um Ali teams began directly distributing date bar allocations to the covered schools, following a schedule that includes different areas of counties and districts, starting from Salt Qasbah and Zai and Al-Aridha districts, passing through Al-Mastabah and Jerash Qasbah schools, reaching Karak Qasbah in the south.

Tkiyet Um Ali confirmed that these schools were chosen after a field study aimed at supporting students in areas that usually do not benefit from nutrition programs, thereby enhancing their health and learning capabilities, and providing a better educational environment for students.

In this context, Samer Bilqar, the General Manager of Tkiyet Um Ali, said:

"The School Nutrition Program is a direct investment in our children's future, and it embodies Tkiyet Um Ali's commitment to reaching the most needy students across various governorates. We are working to provide practical and sustainable solutions that contribute to improving the quality of life of students and supporting their academic achievement because we believe that a healthy child who is capable of learning is the foundation of a strong and prosperous society."

Tkiyet Um Ali indicated that the distribution of date bars is part of the first phase of the program, to be followed by other phases that include additional governorates, in line with the institution's vision of combating hunger and enhancing food security for children in Jordan.

Tkiyet Um Ali asserts that the School Nutrition Program is a pivotal step to support the less fortunate children, providing a healthy educational environment that enhances their chances of achieving a better future.
