Khaberni - Stemming from the commitment of the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University to enhance students' research skills and empower them in preparing scientific theses according to rigorous research standards, the college, in cooperation with the Dean of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies and the Dean of Student Affairs, organized a training workshop titled: "Effectiveness of Writing Thesis Outlines and Addressing Graduate Students' Errors," presented by both: Professor Dr. Khaled Abu Shaaira, and Dr. Mohammad Al-Karamneh, faculty members of the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University.
This workshop came as part of the support for graduate students and enabling them to overcome common research challenges. Dr. Abu Shaaira began the workshop by discussing the importance of the research plan for graduate students, and its role in crystallizing the research idea, organizing its elements, and charting the scientific path that guides the student during the preparation of his thesis. He also reviewed the fundamental standards that the plan must meet to ensure the quality and accuracy of the research. Dr. Al-Karamneh, in turn, gave a detailed presentation on the most common mistakes students make when writing their thesis outlines, explaining how to address them with scientific and practical methods that enhance the quality of the research output and support the student in overcoming the obstacles they may face during the research preparation stages.
This workshop is part of a series of training programs regularly organized by the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University, believing in its pioneering role in providing graduate students with necessary research skills, and enabling them to produce high-quality research that meets the demands of academic and knowledge development. Participants expressed their appreciation for the content presented, pointing out the added value they gained and the practical guidance provided by the workshop to assist them on their research journey.
