Khaberni - The Director of Public Security, Major General Dr. Ubaidah Al-Muaytah, inaugurated today, Sunday, the Civil Defense Center in Wadi Saqra, affiliated with the Civil Defense Directorate of West Amman, as part of the Public Security Directorate's efforts aimed at enhancing and expanding the civil protection system, and improving the readiness and response levels to incidents within the area of jurisdiction.
During the inauguration, Major General Al-Muaytah emphasized that the establishment of this center is in line with the royal directives calling for the enhancement of the public security and safety system, and the provision of comprehensive humanitarian services that contribute to protecting lives and safeguarding properties, noting that the directorate is continuing to improve its services to meet the needs of citizens and enhance community security.
Major General Al-Muaytah pointed out that the new center represents a qualitative addition to the civil protection system, by expanding the geographical coverage and achieving faster response to various incidents, thereby contributing to reducing response time and minimizing losses and effects resulting from incidents.
He added that the center is equipped with the latest equipment, machinery, and specialized technologies in the fields of firefighting, rescue, and medical services, in addition to providing an ideal work environment, according to the highest engineering and technical standards, enabling civil defense personnel to perform their duties with efficiency and competence.
Major General Al-Muaytah noted that the Public Security Directorate continues its expansion plans and the establishment of more specialized centers, according to a comprehensive vision aimed at improving the security and humanitarian services provided to citizens in various regions of the kingdom.
