Khaberni - Within the framework of Arab Amman University's plan to elevate faculty members and enhance their research skills, and under the direction of Professor Dr. Mohammad Wadiyan, president of the university, the School of Educational and Psychological Sciences, directed by Dr. Wafa Al-Eid, dean of the school, participated in the twelfth conference on scientific research, titled "Scientific Research: A Driver of Economic and Social Development", sponsored by His Excellency Professor Dr. Adnan Badran, and organized by the Jordanian Association for Scientific Research, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation, attended by a distinguished group of officials, researchers, and academicians from various Jordanian universities and educational institutions.
The School of Educational and Psychological Sciences was represented at the conference by Dr. Yusuf Al-Jarrah and Dr. Basam Ghanem, faculty members, through their involvement in the scientific sessions focusing on education and professional and technical training and the labor market, where they presented significant scientific contributions that enriched the discussions and highlighted the role of the school in addressing current educational issues.
It is noted that the conference addressed five main themes focusing on the most pressing current research issues and future aspirations for Jordan, including: education and professional and technical training and the labor market, international legislation and human rights, innovation-based economy, the future of clean energy in Jordan, and the food industries and their role in food security.
The participation of Arab Amman University in this conference enhances its efforts in developing graduate programs, solidifying academic collaboration, broadening the horizons of cooperation with scientific research institutions at both national and regional levels, and aligning with its mission and motto of leadership and excellence.
