Khaberni - The name of Kuwaiti artist Shehab Johar has dominated social media platforms in the past few hours, after a picture of him was circulated from inside a hospital, where he appeared lying on a treatment bed, at a time when questions about his health continue.
Media personality Sheikha Al Bader posted the picture via the "story" feature on Instagram, accompanied by a message of support that read: "Pray for artist Shehab Johar.. May he recover safely, may you see no harm, my teacher and brother, may God keep you and the precious Um Fajr safe," and the picture sparked a widespread wave of sympathy and prayers for recovery.
Johar's hospitalization coincides with his wife, the artist Elham Al-Fadalah, experiencing a sudden health setback after being discharged. She appeared on her "Snapchat" account reassuring her fans from inside the hospital.
Judicial Developments
Simultaneously, the case of Elham Al-Fadalah is still being followed after she was temporarily released pending investigation in a case related to "broadcasting false news".
Al-Fadalah, in her first comment after the court's decision, expressed her gratitude to the Kuwaiti judiciary and her audience, saying: "Praise be to God and thanks to Him.. Thank you to our fair judiciary. Thank you to my dear audience".
The Criminal Court in Kuwait, on Monday, ordered the release of Al-Fadalah with the postponement of the case until the session on December 8th next, and during the session, the court listened to the audio recording at the center of the lawsuit, while Al-Fadalah denied the accusations against her, affirming that she did not broadcast any misleading information, and that she would present evidence of her innocence to the competent authorities.
