Khaberni - The Egyptian Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of content creators of the "Al-Akilans" program, after they published a video that featured an analysis of components of some food industries, including mineral water, which showed alleged results of human waste from sewage.
The ministry clarified in its statement that in the context of monitoring the circulation of video clips on social media that include attempts to cast doubt on the safety and suitability of food products for use, the identities of the two individuals appearing in the clips were determined, and they reside in the governorate of Damietta.
Upon confronting them, they admitted to performing analyses on a number of food products in private labs, filming the videos inside one of their homes, and publishing them on their social media pages with the aim of attracting viewers and generating profit.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed that legal actions have been taken regarding the incident.
